We all have seen many differences between Frankenstein: the film and the book. I’m sorry because I can’t put them into the correct order cause I don’t remember it very well.
Victor Frankenstein’s mother doesn’t dies because she’s ill, in the film she dies in the Victor’s brother’s labour.
In the film there’s an epidemic and the doctors vaccine all the people, but there’s a man who thinks that they are liars, so the guardians hanged him.
In the film there’s no Ernest and it appears Justine’s mother, but we don’t know her name.
When Victor goes to University, in the film they have a party. In the book it doesn’t exists.
In the book we can see that Victor meets Henry since they were little, but in the film they meet in University.
In the film, the professor who helps Victor dies and Victor takes his instructions book. In the book he doesn’t die and he helps Victor.
In the film, Henry doesn’t go to another island for a new job and Victor has the laboratory in his bedroom; in the book his laboratory is quite far.
He also goes to prison in the book and in the film he doesn’t because he never travels by boat.
In the book, Dr Frankenstein’s experiment is a secret. In the film, Henry, his friend, know it and he doesn’t agree.
When the monster kills the little guy, the police accuse Justine of the crime, but there isn’t any trial in the film before hang Justine.
The chain with that the monster kills the little boy is an alliance between Victor and Elizabeth and it has a photo of Victor.
In the book, Victor’s father dies because he’s very sad, but in the films is the monster that kills him.
In the book we can remember that the monster helps a little girl who falls into the water, but not in the film.
In the film, when the monster goes into the hut, he helps the old man because they haven’t got money to pay the rent.
In the book, the monster asks Victor to do a female for him, but Victor can’t do it because the monster wants Justine’s body.
In the film, when the monster goes to Victor and Elizabeth’s honeymoon he pulls out Elizabeth heart, he doesn’t kill her like he killed the others.
In the film, Dr Frankenstein wants to remake Elizabeth because he loves her and he can’t stand without her. The monster wants that new doll for him, so they have an argument. Elizabeth finds out that she’s like the monster, but she also can recognize Victor. Finally she burns herself.
In the film the monster burn himself near of the death body of Victor Frankenstein, because he was his father and he wants to die with him.
Finally, the captain doesn’t believe that entire story and he thinks Victor’s mad. In the book we don’t know if he believes him.
