Thirteen.

In Tracy's house, life was really difficult, because her mother worked there and all day were too many people in that house. In the school she was a good student, she had good friends, but there was a problem: she wasn't popular. She got on with Evie and there was when all problems started. Evie was a bad model to Tracy, but she was in a difficult moment in her life too. In my opinion, Evie was in that way because she wanted to escape from her problems, enjoying life in another way, because when she took drugs or alcohol, their live seemed easier, not so bad.
Tracy had a divided family. Their parents were devorced and she never saw her father. Tracy's mum lost the control of the situation and she phoned Tracy's father. As he was never at home and he was always working, he didn't know what was happening, so he didn't help his family very much.
I think Tracy is the biggest problem, 'cause although she was in a difficult moment of er life, she had good friends, good marks and a family that loved her. Maybe she couldn't see it and for that reason she became rebel adolescent who uses drugs, cuts herself and is sexually promiscuous.
Adrian Mole.
He's different than Tracy; his life is different too. He likes himself and I think he's more mature. He knows that he has good friends, although that problem with Nigel-Pandora. He loves his family and it's more conscious that they love him.
In my opinion he's more intelligent, because he has personality and all that's happening around him, doesn't affect too much to Adrian. He's more responsible and I think he'll never do as Tracy.
I've enjoyed the film and the book. In Thirteen, we could see a how is a terrible adolescent live if their have problems. It shocked me when Tracy cut herself; I could never have understood why some people do that...
